About the role

Change Mental Health is determined to be the leading source of information, advice and guidance on mental health and mental illness in Scotland. We want to make sure that everyone has the information and advice they need to make the right decisions for themselves and their families.

The role of the Research and Content Officer is instrumental in ensuring that we can do this and that we and our services are information and research led. This role will lead in the sourcing, summarising and dissemination of appropriate research to our members, staff and people we support. This will include the development, fact checking and writing of website content for Change Mental Health and Mental Health and Money Advice (working with Mental Health UK) as well as the development of newsletter content and potentially other unique communications channels.

As well as an external responsibility this role will also have an internal responsibility to work alongside our National Training Manager and Head of Quality and Improvement to help ensure that our training and development is leading edge. You will develop our knowledge centre, making sure that our knowledge and understanding is up to date and is accurately provided to staff in an accessible and informative manner.

  • 24/7 access to an award-winning Employee Assistance Programme providing free legal, financial and medical advice as well as support with life’s challenges
