About the role
We’re looking for a compassionate and driven Project Manager to lead our award-winning Community Link Worker service across the Highlands. This role will see you managing a team of Community Link Workers who support individuals referred by GP practices due to social challenges impacting their mental health and wellbeing.
As Project Manager, you’ll work closely with NHS Highland and the Locality Manager to ensure our person-centred, community-based service is delivered to the highest standards. You’ll oversee daily operations, maintain strong external relationships, contribute to the development of community resources and support strategic planning and evaluation. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives while helping shape the future of social prescribing in Scotland.
Who are we looking for?
You are an organised and empathetic leader with a strong background in health, social care, or community development. You can lead a team, manage complex priorities and work collaboratively with external partners to develop solutions. You’re confident managing people, processes and reporting and bring a values-led approach to your work.
Essential:
-
SVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in the social care sector

Strong understanding of social care interventions and risk assessment
-
Skilled at leading teams, planning strategically, and managing multiple priorities
-
Confident in providing supervision and professional support

Good IT skills and understanding of Health & Social Care policy in Scotland

Able to travel across the region as needed
Desirable:

Experience supporting people with mental or physical health challenges

Background in community development
-
Experience working in an SSSC Registered Service
-
A learning portfolio that evidences continued professional development
