Duty of Candour
Duty of Candour is a legal requirement, part of the Health (Tobacco, Nicotine etc and Care) (Scotland) Act 2016, to ensure that if something goes wrong in the services all relevant information is shared with the people affected. They are offered an explanation, an apology and assurance that staff will learn from and share this learning if something goes wrong.
This page shows how each support area of Change Mental Health has abided to the Duty of Candour.
Change Mental Health supports people affected by mental illness across Scotland.
Our Advice and Support Service is open Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm, where advisers can signpost you to local support that most fits your needs, including our own Change Mental Health services. We offer initial advice on money worries and help to deal with emergencies.
