Change Mental Health has supported a record number of people across Scotland, demonstrating in its latest Annual Report another year of continued growth, expanded reach and delivering more innovative services

The 2024/25 Annual Report shows, despite continuing pressures on services across Scotland, that Change Mental Health supported 10,535 people and increased its income by almost 17%.

It highlights a year of investment in quality assurance, policy influencing and partnership development, along with strengthening the organisation’s ability to respond to the changing and growing needs of communities across Scotland.

Greg May, Chair of the Board at Change Mental Health, said:

“This has been another significant year for Change Mental Health. We continue to increase our reach and the impact we have on the people we support.

“During this year, we have continued to build and deepen our relationships with our colleagues working in other organisations to the benefit of all those in Scotland needing support.

“I have no doubt we will continue to face challenges going forward, but we are in a very strong position to play a critical part in the future provision of mental health services across Scotland.”

Key highlights across 2024/25

The 2024/25 Annual Report shows success in areas such as:

Nick Ward, CEO at Change Mental Health, said:

“This has been another very successful year for the charity and we are incredibly proud of the impact we are making. The increase in income is allowing us to support more people than ever before and in new and exciting ways.

“We are coming to the end of our current strategy, which has been transformative for the organisation and the people we support. Our new strategy will clearly set out how Change Mental Health can play a unique role in changing the mental health landscape in this country.

“We have come a long way, but there is a long way to go – until we can truly meet that vision of no one needing to face mental illness alone.”
