About the role

Change Mental Health is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead the delivery and development of our community mental health services across the Central area (Edinburgh, Fife and Tayside).

This is a varied operational leadership role with responsibility for service quality, people management, performance, partnerships and continuous improvement across Hub and Outreach services.

Who are we looking for?

You’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery of services, ensuring they are safe, effective, person-centred and focused on achieving meaningful outcomes for the people we support.

You’ll lead and develop staff, manage service performance and budgets, monitor quality and safeguarding, and use data and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement. You’ll also build strong relationships with commissioners, funders and community partners, helping strengthen referral pathways and develop new opportunities for our services.

As part of our Management Team, you’ll have the autonomy to resolve operational challenges, develop effective systems and procedures, and contribute to the wider development of Change Mental Health.

We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and the charity and are a ‘Happy to Talk Flexible’ employer. Hours are typically worked Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, although occasional evening and weekend working may be required. The role may also participate in an on-call rota.

If you are passionate about enabling Change Mental Health to deliver a valuable service to the Scottish community and feel your profile matches this role’s criteria, then we want to hear from you!
