Mental health training
Mental health awareness training can give everyone the knowledge and skills to fight stigma and contribute to creating a supportive and mentally healthy environment.
Change Mental Health offers employers, individuals and young people the opportunity to take part in mental health training, which has been informed by people with lived experience.
All our training is designed to proactively support mental health for those who access the training in the first instance and those they support. Change Mental Health has a 50-year track record of supporting mental health in Scotland, and this expertise continuously helps to build our training experience in order to support others.
Our various training programmes allow workplaces, schools and communities to embed a culture of wellbeing to protect mental health. By encouraging resilience through self-care, understanding through knowledge and support through empathy, participating in Change Mental Health training instils an ethos that empowers those within and attracts those without.
Our resilience-based programmes equip those working with young people the tools, knowledge and confidence to support their mental health and successful life transitions.
“We are working on further developing our mental health and wellbeing support with the insights gained from the course, and we are continuing to encourage a supportive workplace with clear communication.”
