Dumfries and Galloway

Change Mental Health works across Dumfries and Galloway to ensure we are reaching people affected by mental illness and those in the remotest areas of the region

We are active from one side of Dumfries and Galloway to the other. We work closely with communities to deliver mental health support to ensure that no one is left behind in some of the most rural areas of the region.

We run resource centres in Dumfries, Annan, Castle Douglas, Newton Stewart and Stranraer. These provide a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental space where people can socialise and complete skills to improve their confidence and wellbeing while taking part in various activities.

We make sure our services in Dumfries and Galloway are resourceful, welcoming and place you at the heart of what we do. We work in and part of communities across the region and enable you to integrate into these when you are ready to move onto the next step in your journey.

“Change Mental Health is a place which helps me with my feelings of isolation, lack of confidence and has given me a sense of purpose. They see me, not my illness.”
